American Vascular Associates and New England Endovascular Center Announce Strategic Partnership to Advance Outpatient Vascular Care in Western New England

Partnership combines NEEC's clinical excellence with AVA's operational expertise to enhance patient access and support future growth.

PALM HARBOR, Fla. and WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass., November 4, 2026 – American Vascular Associates (AVA), a leading vascular management and growth organization, today announced a strategic partnership with New England Endovascular Center (NEEC), a premier provider of minimally invasive vascular and endovascular care serving patients throughout Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut.

The partnership brings together NEEC's clinical expertise and longstanding commitment to patient-centered care with AVA's comprehensive operational, financial, technological, and growth resources. Together, the organizations will strengthen access to high-quality outpatient vascular and interventional care while supporting future expansion opportunities throughout the region.

Founded as the first interventional and endovascular medical center in Western New England, NEEC has built a strong reputation for delivering advanced minimally invasive procedures with exceptional accessibility, reduced wait times, and personalized patient care. The practice serves patients throughout the Pioneer Valley, Greater Springfield region, Berkshires, and Northern Connecticut.

AVA was founded with a mission to improve access to vascular care and has since evolved into a full-service management organization supporting office-based labs (OBLs) and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) through operations, revenue cycle management, finance, IT, compliance, marketing, physician recruitment, and strategic growth initiatives.

"This partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving patient access, enhancing operational excellence, and building a sustainable foundation for long-term growth," said Michael Licata, Chief Executive Officer of American Vascular Associates. "NEEC's reputation for clinical quality, innovation, and patient-centered care makes them an ideal partner for AVA."

Through the partnership, NEEC physicians and clinical teams will gain access to AVA's extensive management resources while maintaining their focus on delivering best-in-class patient outcomes. AVA will support the center through proven business infrastructure, performance optimization, growth planning, and operational expertise designed specifically for vascular practices.

“We are incredibly excited about our partnership with AVA,” said Dr. R. S. Lowell Kahn, Founder of NEEC. “From the very beginning, it was clear that our organizations share not only a common vision for the future of outpatient vascular and interventional care, but also a culture built around putting patients first. At NEEC, we have always taken great pride in providing highly personalized, compassionate care while offering the most advanced, state-of-the-art treatments available. AVA shares that same philosophy, and I believe this partnership will allow us to build upon what we have created and further enhance the care we provide to patients throughout Western New England, including northern Connecticut. I am genuinely enthusiastic about what we can accomplish together and look forward to an exciting future for our patients, our team, and our community.”

The partnership supports both organizations' commitment to expanding access to minimally invasive treatment options, improving patient experience, and creating long-term value for physicians, staff, referral partners, and the communities they serve.
