Dr. Eugene Chun is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist with 18 years of clinical experience, specializing in minimally invasive procedures that offer life-changing outcomes for patients with complex vascular conditions.
Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Chun completed his medical school, residency, and fellowship training at George Washington University. His career began in academic medicine as a faculty member at Harvard Medical School, practicing at the renowned Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
He later returned to the Washington, DC area, where he served as the Interventional Radiology Fellowship Director at George Washington University, helping shape the next generation of interventional radiologists. Dr. Chun then transitioned into private practice, focusing on advanced treatments including uterine fibroid embolization, complex peripheral arterial disease interventions with an emphasis on limb salvage, and minimally invasive therapies for osteoarthritis.
Before joining Surgical Associates Chartered, Dr. Chun also held privileges at the National Institutes of Health, where he contributed to cutting-edge clinical work.
