Michael Licata

Chief Executive Officer

Michael Licata is Chief Executive Officer of American Vascular Associates, bringing extensive experience in healthcare strategy, growth, and operations. He previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at Pinnacle Treatment Centers and as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Healogics, where he helped triple the company’s wound center footprint. Earlier, he was North America Vice President of Sales for Nuclear Medicine and Oncology at Philips Medical Systems and founded Philips’ pre‑clinical molecular imaging business. Michael began his career as an engineer, transitioned into healthcare with GE Medical Systems, and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University and an Executive MBA from Stanford University.

Chief Financial Officer

Audrey Soskin serves as the Chief Financial Officer at American Vascular Associates, bringing extensive experience in financial leadership within the healthcare sector. In her role, she oversees financial strategy and operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and supporting the organization’s growth objectives. Audrey’s expertise includes financial planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, which are critical to the company’s success. Her strategic approach to financial management contributes to the organization’s mission of delivering high-quality vascular care.

Sam Lee

Chief Operations Officer

Sam Lee, a dedicated leader in healthcare operations and revenue growth, brings over 20 years of expertise in transforming multi-unit health services. His experience includes working closely with private equity-backed organizations, where he has successfully aligned operational strategies with investment objectives to deliver sustainable results. Renowned for his ability to guide cross-functional teams, strengthen partnerships, and enhance patient care, Sam’s leadership ensures impactful outcomes for patients, healthcare providers, and investors alike.

Laurie Brown

Chief Compliance Officer

Laurie Brown BSN, RN is currently the Chief Compliance Officer for American Vascular Associates with more than 17 years of leadership, clinical operation, and healthcare experience.  Her experience includes Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and office-based lab clinical operations, state licensure surveys in various states, CMS ASC facility certification, compliance, and accreditation surveys.Clinical and leadership roles include Trauma ICU Nurse, Interventional Radiology Nurse, Nurse Preceptor, ASC Manager, Director of Clinical Operations and Compliance, and Chief Compliance Officer. Laurie has also served on multi-state committee projects such as the Louisiana State Department of Health’s Study workgroup regarding Bill HCR 70 “Potential Licensing of Endovascular Suites” and the Mississippi State Certificate of Need Ad Hoc Subcommittee on Digital Subtraction Angiography.

With a proven track record of building high-performing recruitment teams, designing strategic hiring processes, and significantly reducing recruitment costs, Scott has consistently driven growth through people-first practices. His work spans both clinical and non-clinical healthcare roles, partnering with C-suite leaders to scale organizations and align talent strategies with business goals. Scott’s passion for coaching and developing internal teams, combined with a deep understanding of metrics and performance, makes him a transformative leader in healthcare staffing.
