He previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at Pinnacle Treatment Centers and as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Healogics, where he helped triple the company’s wound center footprint. Earlier, he was North America Vice President of Sales for Nuclear Medicine and Oncology at Philips Medical Systems and founded Philips’ pre‑clinical molecular imaging business. Michael began his career as an engineer, transitioned into healthcare with GE Medical Systems, and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University and an Executive MBA from Stanford University.

Laurie Brown
Chief Compliance Officer
Laurie Brown BSN, RN is currently the Chief Compliance Officer for American Vascular Associates with more than 17 years of leadership, clinical operation, and healthcare experience. Her experience includes Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and office-based lab clinical operations, state licensure surveys in various states, CMS ASC facility certification, compliance, and accreditation surveys.Clinical and leadership roles include Trauma ICU Nurse, Interventional Radiology Nurse, Nurse Preceptor, ASC Manager, Director of Clinical Operations and Compliance, and Chief Compliance Officer. Laurie has also served on multi-state committee projects such as the Louisiana State Department of Health’s Study workgroup regarding Bill HCR 70 “Potential Licensing of Endovascular Suites” and the Mississippi State Certificate of Need Ad Hoc Subcommittee on Digital Subtraction Angiography.
