Dawn Hackney has over 20 years of experience in healthcare services with a deep knowledge of leadership, strategic planning, operations and financial management expertise. Prior to American Vascular Associates, Dawn served as the Vice President of Care Access Research, a leading provider of clinical research trials headquartered in Boston and has been honored as a finalist in Tampa Bay Business Journal’s CFO of the Year. She has been published by the Tampa Bay Business and Wealth magazine as a Women in Influence. Earlier, Dawn served as the Chief Financial Officer of Meridian Research, a Tampa Bay based clinical research trial organization at which she was fundamental in their growth and acquisition to Avego Management Investors. Dawn has served as Treasurer for Tampa’s chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) and is active in the Arts as she held a Board of Director seat for The FreeFall Theater. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida.
